Ranking Guide

This guide is intended for Group Directors and higher ranks. Its purpose is to provide clear instructions for promoting or demoting players.

Information

When ranking, promoting, or demoting staff members, we enforce strict guidelines to prevent misuse or abuse of authority. Ranking is conducted exclusively through the Ranking Service bot within our Discord server. Only the Chairwoman and Vice Chairperson are authorized to rank staff via our Roblox Community. Only Group Directors and above have permission to rank players.

When performing any ranking actions, ensure they are properly logged. Promotions or demotions that lack reasonable grounds are strictly prohibited.

Cooldowns

To ensure fairness and prevent staff from receiving multiple promotions in a single day, we have implemented cooldown periods. These cooldowns provide everyone an equal opportunity to earn a promotion. The table below outlines the ranks subject to cooldowns and their respective durations:

During Mass Shifts, staff members are eligible for a promotion even if they are within their cooldown period. Vice Presidents and above are authorized to host mass shifts, while Junior Team Members and above may participate. To qualify for a promotion during a mass shift, staff members must arrive on time and remain until the shift concludes. Leaving early will disqualify them from receiving a promotion.

Promotions

When promoting a staff member, ensure they are not on a cooldown period and are not an Operations Manager. SHR+ will specifically look for Operations Managers to promote. Group Directors through Group Executives are prohibited from promoting Operations Managers to Group Director.

To promote someone, use the following command in our Discord server: /promote (Roblox username)

Do not include parentheses () around the username. Be sure to enter the correct and full Roblox username, as any errors will prevent the promotion.

NOTICE

If you accidentally promote the wrong person, please demote them promptly and ensure the intended staff member receives their promotion.

Demotions

When demoting a staff member, ensure the demotion is reasonable. Operations Managers and above may request a demotion by providing the following:

  • A clear explanation of the staff member's actions
  • Evidence supporting the claim
  • The offender’s Roblox username and Discord username (if applicable)

Only SHR and above are authorized to carry out staff demotions. Staff members should not be demoted for the following reasons:

  • Trolling (Issue a warning and then have an HR+ server ban. If continued, a demotion is applicable.)
  • Being in a blacklisted group
  • Exploiting (Permanent ban if under LR. Permanent ban & demotion for MR+.)
  • Other unreasonable reasons that do not align with our guidelines

To demote someone, use the following command in our Discord server:
/demote (Roblox username)

Do not include parentheses around the username. Ensure the Roblox username is spelled correctly and in full; otherwise, the demotion will fail.

All demotions must be logged. Failure to log a demotion will result in consequences. Use the #demotion-request channel to submit demotion requests.

NOTICE

If you mistakenly demote the wrong person, restore their rank and ensure the intended staff member receives the demotion.
